How much should my remodeling project cost?
Home remodeling costs all depend on the size and scope of your project. The materials chosen, the size of the room, and age of the infrastructure can all impact the project cost. Remember when you are comparing bids, that you are comparing the exact same scope from each contractor. If a price comes in that looks too good to be true, it probably is.

What is the average cost per square foot?
A fairly simple way to break it down is this: square footage x estimated cost of materials, labor, etc. Cost will range between $100 and $700, with $100 on the low end and $700 on the higher end. The average homeowner’s costs fall between $300 – $500 per square foot.
If you’re looking for an exact cost of your remodel, you’ll need to know local material prices, design plans, who’s doing the work (contractor or you), what the project involves (plumbing, electrical, etc.) and their prices as well. As you can see, exact isn’t likely, but there are, however, price ranges to give you an idea.
